Home Inspection and Environmental Testing

Whole House Inspections

N.Y.S. Certified Termite and other Wood Destroying Insect Inspections
Asbestos Septic Systems Subterranean Fuel Oil Tanks

Being a NYS Licensed Home Inspector is not enough.
All inspectors test for Radon, however not all inspectors are trained and qualified to test for Radon.
Whether or not you are having your home tested for Radon be sure your inspector is a
certified Professional Radon Tester listed with the NYS Dept. of Health.
If they are not then they are unqualified and unprofessional. Confirm your inspector's Radon credentials visit the following NYS Dept. of Health website to see if your inspector is listed.
If he/she is NOT LISTED DO NOT USE THEM. (Click on link above or below)

Because there are more than a few inexperienced inspectors (and a large number are unqualified part timers and semi retirees) performing home inspections and environmental testing, the consumer must exercise caution! Know your inspector's experience, professional affiliations, background and qualifications.

I, Nick Kuvach, the owner/operator of Reveal Home Inspections, am the only inspector/environmental tester representing Reveal Home Inspections. I performed my first fee paid home inspection in 1981. Most licensed home inspectors have much less experience. Larger home inspection companies can have big staffs that are in constant transition. In the larger firms people come and go - a client can never be sure who will show up for their inspection and testing, nor can the client be sure of their inspector's qualifications. With Reveal Home Inspections you always know who will be performing your home inspection and environmental testing...me, Nick Kuvach. There is no delegation of responsibility.
